Before your IPL session, we will provide specific instructions to ensure your skin is prepared for treatment. For example, you may need to avoid using certain topical products on the skin in the treatment area for a short period of time. Harmony Dye VL is a non-invasive light device. At your IPL appointment, your provider will move the IPL device over the treatment area, carefully targeting areas of concern. You may feel a slight sensation like a tiny rubber band being snapped against your skin, but patients generally find the treatment very tolerable. Most patients will need to schedule around four to six treatments, spaced a few weeks apart, to achieve the best results.
